Hey there, Majic adventurers! 🌴 Looking for an exciting getaway? Let's talk about XAVAGE Park, your ultimate destination for heart-pounding thrills and natural wonders. 🚀 The name of this place, hardly does it justice to what is available. These courses are here to raise the bar for what is extreme. This is NOT the place for relaxation or the faint of heart.
The first thing I love about this place. It was created as a clean-up of an old trash dump. The owner of Xcaret puts a special focus on each way to be sustainable, reuse, and recycle. You will find lots of trash turned into treasure at this park.

Unleash Your Inner Explorer
Step into a world of awe-inspiring beauty and action-packed activities. 🌊 Embark on a journey of discovery as you choose your way through courses like a zip-line in a massive bird flight, kayak down a long expanding river, get whirled by a speed boat, raft on a river of rapids, climb above the park in a nest of ropes and obstacles, drive in a monster truck, or feast your way into a specialized meal. 🛶 Feel the rush of adrenaline as you conquer the challenging courses designed to test your limits.
Dive into Aquatic Adventures
Calling all water enthusiasts! XAVAGE Park is a haven for aquatic adventures and extremes. We got boats, kayaks, and river rafting!? That's right, rafting in Mexico. Take a leap of faith with your guide over the rapids and steep drops. Best of luck and be prepared to get WET! (We were first-time rafters and DID NOT FLIP OUT of the raft! - our guide gave us congrats and this is the only place I can brag about that.) Kayak down one of two paths through a river in the jungle. This part was probably the most relaxing part next to the meal. The boat, however, opposite of relaxing! Talk about a speed boat. Hang on tight while you're whipped around in a speed boat that drifts in the water and 180 spins. Sometimes the boat was so fast the picture didn't catch us. Pro-tip - this boat and river water irritated my eyes. Getting whipped around in this high-speed water - you should bring some goggles to have for this special event. I wish I had so I could have seen the surroundings better than closing my eyes shut, and having to find an anti-inflammatory later for irritated water-logged eyes.
Heights, flights, and frights:
The non-water options are just as fierce. You can climb on the ropes and go to extreme heights while you travel over the tops of the park on obstacles made to stand tall. There are rope bridges, clip-on systems, and ropes galore. There is also the option to fly like a bird. Not a relaxing bird-like Xenses, but like a hawk! Fast, swooping up down, and around. I definitely felt a few skips of air floating in my glide. Last but not least the Monster truck. We went over tired, wooden boards, and uneven roads where one side of our tires was up and one was down. It was incredibly wild to be in the passenger seat letting my husband drive OVER OTHER CARS! Catch my very concerned face in these photos. The first visit we had we did Amphibious Vehicles at Xplor, and I was already scared of that. The next year when we came back, and they had Xavage, I thought it would be the same. Now that I've done the monster truck the other one seems really easy. It was all good and scary fun.
Unwind and Recharge with the Meal of Extreme Delight
After a day of non-stop excitement, treat yourself to some well-deserved sustenance. The food is coursed in a way that it compliments each course. Yes just like the park, your experience here will be introduced in courses. You start with refreshing handmade drinks and move down the plethora of options as someone guides you through the selections. This food experience was at the top of the park list. It didn't beat the hotel's experiences, but it came in a close second place. It was catered to my choice of meal that was fresh, not heavy, and tasted like a culinary delight. I can't even remember the options because they were so unique.
This park will have your body tired, and worn, but shaped and molded by the experience. I absolutely loved facing each course with courage and they all thrilled me in their own ways.
I wouldn't suggest back-to-back days of Xavage and another endurance activity, but for those XTREME Travelers out there, this is a place to go and keep going year after year.
